'Every child is an artist.' Pablo Picasso
Any form of Art (whatever the medium: Pastels, Pencils, Acrylic, Oil, Paper, Canvas; Sculpting, Modelling Clay, Pottery; Needlework, Macrame, Jewellery Making; Music, Dance, Theatre, etc) has a very strong therapeutic effect.
And as Picasso so succinctly observed, Artistic activity is an incredibly powerful form of self-expression, inherent in every individual. The mode of expression may differ but each individual's expression is uniquely their own and they are in no way bound to follow any 'prescribed formats.'

Continues between Counselling & Therapy sessions
For Art Therapy Workshops, it begins and extends interactively during the course
Continues beyond Therapy sessions and Workshops as the clients/participants 'rediscover' their own Creativity and the Joy it brings, as they continue in their new-found confident explorations
